What to put on a CV with no experience

**Education first.** For recent graduates, education goes at the top. Include your degree, university, graduation year and grade.

**Relevant coursework.** List 4-6 modules that are relevant to the job you are applying for.

**Projects.** University, personal or open-source projects count. For each one: what it was, what technology or skills you used, and what the outcome was.

**Internships and part-time work.** Even if it is not directly relevant, it shows you can hold a job. A retail job shows customer communication and reliability.

**Volunteering.** Counts as experience. Frame it the same way you would frame a job.

**Certifications.** Google, Coursera, HubSpot, AWS and many others offer free or cheap certifications that are recognised by employers.

The most important thing

Apply anyway. Most "entry level" jobs that list 2 years of experience will still consider strong graduates. The worst they can say is no.

Use a clean, ATS-safe CV format. Do not use a Canva template with graphics and columns — they are rejected by ATS software before a human sees them.
